Australian OSINT Symposium 2026
Description
The Australian OSINT Symposium is not just any conference; it’s the only event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, offering a unique platform for collaboration and learning. Whether you’re an intelligence and/or security professional, policymaker, or tech enthusiast, this symposium provides an invaluable opportunity to engage with thought leaders from around the globe, network with peers, and stay up-to-date with open-source intelligence (OSINT) innovations.
This year’s theme, Decision Advantage with OSINT, focuses on how open-source insight is translated into timely, defensible and actionable decisions. The symposium showcases real-world examples of cutting-edge OSINT capability in action, helping organisations identify untapped OSINT opportunities to help make the world a safer place!
This is an in-person event only.
Symposium Virtual Training Series
Alongside our in-person symposium, we’re offering a global Decision Advantage Virtual Training Series—four virtual sessions designed to extend learning into applied capability. The training is open to practitioners worldwide, connecting participants from Australia, the United States and beyond. Each session is run twice to accommodate different timezones.
You can bundle your symposium ticket with the virtual training, purchase tickets for all four training sessions, or just select the sessions that interest you. See all options at checkout.

FAQs
- Will there be virtual tickets to this event?
Not this year. For 2026, Australian OSINT Symposium is an in-person only event to ensure the very experience for everyone involved!
The training series will be delivered virtually.
- Will the presentations be recorded?
Where presenters provide us permission, we will record presentations at AOS2026. Recordings will be uploaded and accessible within OSINT Combine's Training Academy a month or so after the event.
- How does the Virtual Training work?
Alongside our in-person symposium, we’re delivering a global Decision Advantage Training Series—four virtual sessions designed to extend learning into applied capability. The series runs from July through to early September. We run each training session twice to maximise the opportunity for people around the world to participate. Each training session is run live by one of our experienced OSINT Trainers. Sessions will be recorded, and the recording shared with ticket holders.
For ticket holders, you will receive the invitation with the virtual links to both the AM and PM sessions of the training approximately 24hrs prior.
- I saw there is an event in the US too, what’s the difference between the Australian and US OSINT Symposiums?
In 2026, we're building on the success of the Australian OSINT Symposium to launch the inaugural US OSINT Symposium 2026. Although united under a common theme, "Decision Advantage with OSINT", the events will feature different presenters and sessions. Both events are in-person only.
- Who will I meet at Australian OSINT Symposium?
You’ll connect with practitioners, analysts and decision-makers from across government, defense, law enforcement, corporate security and academia—people working real-world OSINT challenges.
