Description
This workshop explores how researchers can get the most out of working with the media.
We will focus on making tricky topics accessible and engaging for a lay audience, avoiding jargon, and how and why news stories are structured.
We will also run through some of the most common mistakes experts make when telling their stories, and our top tips on preparing for interviews.
The workshop will be led by Australian Science Media Centre Senior Media Officer Dr Joseph Milton.
