The Australian Government has supported skilled Australians to volunteer overseas for over six decades.

Join us online to learn how you can support overseas organisations to achieve locally led development goals.

Everyone is welcome. Registration is essential.

In our online information session you’ll:

Meet Australian Volunteers Program staff who will share insights about the program and the application process
Gain an understanding of the support that the program provides to volunteers such as allowances, flights and visa support.
Hear from former volunteers who will share their experience on assignment and give you a glimpse of what life is like as a volunteer.

We offer a range of volunteering modalities; in-country, remote and in a hybrid combination of remote and in-country. Australian volunteers come from a broad range of sectors, contributing the specific skills and experience required to support our partners.

We encourage people with disabilities, couples, people with children, people from the LGBTQIA+ community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to attend.

The online event will start at 6:30PM (AEDT). We invite you to get comfy, bring along a cup of tea and learn about the program from wherever you may be in Australia.
