We know that ending homelessness is possible, but only if we work together in new ways. That is why on 27 October 2022 the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH) will be hosting the inaugural Australian Zero Homelessness Summit, bringing together all the organisations and communities committed to ending homelessness in Australia and to officially launch the Advance to Zero campaign.

The summit will bring together people and organisations across the homelessness, housing, health, and many other sectors, across industries, and all levels of government to ensure everyone has access to the housing and support they need to make sure that any future incidents of homelessness that do occur are rare, brief, and a one-time occurrence.

The summit will provide the opportunity to hear directly from communities that have ended homelessness in both the United States and Canada. In attendance will be:

Importantly, the Summit will also provide the opportunity to showcase the efforts of the growing number of Australian communities to end homelessness here.

The summit will take place alongside the learning sessions with all of the growing number of communities that are part of the Advance to Zero Campaign as well as many of the Allied Networks associated with the AAEH - such as the Australian Health, Housing and Homelessness Network (A3HN), the Australian and New Zealand Common Ground Community of Practice and others.

The summit and workshops will take place at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. The summit networking events will take place at The Charming Squire, Grey Street, South Brisbane.
