Australia’s social venture ecosystem – the support and development landscape

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Australia’s social venture ecosystem consists of many diverse entities who operate within a range of complementary and intersecting fields, including impact investment, social enterprise, social business, the charity and philanthropic sectors.

In late 2020, the Paul Ramsay Foundation commissioned the Centre for Social Impact Swinburne to undertake a research program to better understand a previously under-researched aspect of this social venture ecosystem - support programs, intermediaries and representative networks.

Join us for this webinar where we'll present and discuss the findings of the research and its implications for our ecosystem.

Presenters and panellists:

  • Abhilash Mudaliar: Chief Portfolio Officer, Paul Ramsay Foundation
  • Libby Ward Christie: Principal Industry Fellow, Centre for Social Impact Swinburne
  • Dr Michael Moran: National Education Director and Senior Lecturer, Centre for Social Impact Swinburne
  • Dr Amber Earles: Research Fellow, Centre for Social Impact Swinburne
  • Distinguished Professor Jo Barraket (Moderator): Director, Centre for Social Impact Swinburne

Please note: This webinar will commence at 1:00pm (AEDT) and registrations will close an hour before. Live transcribing will be available and the webinar will be recorded. Please register to receive the first release of the recording.
