Calling all family pairings! Here’s a connection workshop just for you.

This is not family therapy, but rather an opportunity to deepen & strengthen communication skills with your family member AND have some fun along the way 😃

Whether you already know each other inside out, or are looking for new ways to connect, I invite you to gather together for this Authentic Relating workshop designed specifically for family pairings (e.g. mother & son) to cultivate the trust, empathy, empowerment and nourishment that is possible within the unique specimen of your bond.

You will journey through a series of Authentic Relating exercises that will give you the opportunity to playfully and sincerely deepen your connection. By the end of this workshop, you will understand one another's perspectives even better, encouraging you to respond more effectively to their needs as well as yours.

❤️‍🔥Authentic Relating is a ground breaking social technology that enables you to heartfully, playfully and courageously connect, using the tools of radical honesty and active listening. The practice invites you to drop deeper into presence, embodied awareness and permission to express whatever is alive within you and the ‘we-space’ between you and other(s).

👨‍👧 This workshop is open to all family pairings (in 2s), aged 18+, whether it’s brother & sister, father & daughter, cousin & cousin, aunt & niece, grandmother & grandson 🙂

About the facilitator:

Laurie (he/him), is a queer British-Kiwi who’s current home-base is Wellington, NZ. His passion is creating spaces that cultivate healthy, thriving human-to-human relationships, helping people take off their masks, feel their sensations and celebrate their aliveness on Earth. Since 2019, he has organised and facilitated hundreds of Authentic Relating, Dating and Embodiment workshops in Oceania and Europe.

His training includes The Embody Lab, Authentic Revolution, and Connection Institute. He has facilitated at internationally acclaimed festivals such as Stretch and Ignite, and organisations such as ART International and Authentic Bay Area.

His experience includes working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs); neurodiverse people; people suffering from anxiety and depression; people going through major life shifts; and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Cost:

Three Earlybird tickets are available for $70 per pair.

Regular ticket price is $90 per pair.

Where: Wellington Meditation Centre, 31 Hobson Crescent, Thorndon, Wellington 6011, New Zealand.

When: Tuesday 11th February, 7.30 to 10pm.

Dresscode: Wear anything you feel comfortable in. Venue is shoes off.

Intoxicants: This workshop is drug and alcohol free. There will be plenty of tea available 🙂

Refunds: No refunds given, but if you cannot make it you may use your ticket as credit for a future i to i workshop.
