FUN & FASCINATING AUTHENTIC RELATING (A.R.) SOCIAL EVENT

Facilitated, collaborative, un-pressured, experiential explorations and reflections in pairs and small groups.
For fun, community, self-development, and developing relating skills & confidence.
A great learning environment, but not a 'class'. It is an interactive A.R. Social all about learning the alchemy of human resonance, and really 'meeting' yourself and others.
Opportunities to be seen, felt, recognized, understood or accepted in ways that are natural and empowered, but sadly often just not regularly available in our culture.

People attend for many reasons:

Just because it feels amazing to really engage with others more deeply and richly in a collaborative and supportive ways.
To upgrade natural fluency in such things as presence, intuition, boundaries, and relating skills and confidence. (Yes all these can be learned, just like any skills.)
For deeper insights into the essence of who we truly are. Many folk tell us that A.R. has assisted them to move beyond old patterns, conditioned habits & limitations.
Our approach is extremely grounded and supportive, and very 'human'. We believe A.R. works best a curious exploration by regular people; not some kind of perfectionist system to be mastered. Empathy and interest are far more important than skill or confidence.

AR is an internationally-established field of conscious relating skills. Event Crew:

* Ian has been actively involved in AR since the mid-90s and holding groups since 2005. He trained as a Circling Facilitator in 2012 with a graduate of the Integral Center, has since trained with A.R. International (ART), and Authentic Revolution (USA). He also has previously completed in-depth studies of Transpersonal and Expressive Therapies.

* Anna is a skilled and empathetic space-holder. She supports you in coming home to your body, while building your capacity to hold deep and fulfilling connections with others. She is passionate about Authentic Relating because it nudges her to explore her edges while connecting deeply with others. It is also her antidote to ‘small talk’.

What Authentic Relating (and this event) ISN'T:

This isn't therapy: It's not about trying to 'fix' or classify anyone. A.R. can be very helpful in processing challenges or trauma-residue, but that happens organically. A.R. isn't suitable for people who aren't comfortable to see deeper edges of themselves or others.

There's no 'System' to 'be perfect at': Using the frameworks people are supported to tap into their own resources. We don't tell anyone 'how to be'.

This isn't a Hierarchical Space: The facilitators have explored these realms in depth, so have experience in many elements of A.R., and are fluent in facilitating and holding space. Yet there are also many areas in which we too are still facing our challenging edges. We honor every individual's incredibly different human journey, and hold space in circle (not 'front of house'), so that we are all part of the process.
