Join us for an author talk with Sarah Hawthorn, who will discuss her new book, High Land, with fellow author Sarah Bourne.

About Sarah Hawthorn

After a career spanning theatre, publishing and marketing, Sarah made the tree change from Sydney to NSW’s beautiful Southern Highlands and turned to writing fiction. High Land is her fourth novel. She has previously published A Voice In The Night, The Dilemma and Love. Camera. Action.

In this starkly original thriller, High Land has more twists and turns than a winding mountain road. When the parachutes fail to deploy during Annie's first-ever tandem skydive, her instructor takes the ground impact, but is killed in the heroic act of saving her. Hailed 'Miracle Girl', Annie's death-defying fall from high above land becomes news around the world, setting off a chain of mysterious and deadly events, with origins going back twenty years.

About Sarah Bourne

Sarah Bourne was born in England and travelled extensively before settling in Australia. She is an award-winning short story writer and has also had five novels of contemporary fiction and two of historical fiction published (including The Paris Resistance and Letting Go), with another due out any minute.
