Join us on Monday, June 8th for a special picture book storytime and author conversation with visiting author Emily Barth Isler and local author Jolene Gutiérrez.

Together, they’ll share stories that explore resilience, memory, empathy, and hope—inviting young readers to discover strength and light even in difficult moments. Through heartfelt storytelling and conversation, both authors celebrate the ways books can help children better understand themselves, their families, and the world around them.

Perfect for readers ages 4–8 and their families, this special event will include a read-aloud storytime, author conversation, audience Q&A, and book signing.

Come celebrate stories that honor courage, connection, and the light we find in one another.
