This webinar explores the intersection of autism and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), drawing on four decades of clinical data from the University of Washington Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Diagnostic and Prevention Network (FASDPN).

Dr Erin Olson will present comparative neurodevelopmental profiles among individuals with and without autism spectrum disorder, highlighting patterns that inform differential diagnosis and assessment. The session will include discussion of practical diagnostic considerations and implications for clinical practice.

About the presenter:

Dr Erin Olson is a clinical psychologist specialising in neurodevelopmental assessment and caregiver support. She has over 15 years’ experience with the interdisciplinary FASD team at the University of Washington and currently serves as Clinical Associate Professor in the UW School of Medicine. Dr Olson directs caregiver programs at the Seattle Children’s Autism Center and contributes to national and international training on FASD, autism, and behavioural interventions.
