Autism CHAT Session - Ellerslie
Event description
Book a half hour Autism CHAT with Children’s Autism Foundation Family Consultant Jeanita Cush-Hunter. Meet with Jeanita for a relaxed session to discuss any issues or questions you have related to autism (eg. behaviours, school, anxiety, communication, social skills, diagnosis, toileting, sleeping etc).
These sessions are designed with a focus on your family, equipping you with the strategies & information you need to be able to support your child and be confident in your parenting.
Includes a follow-up support session by phone, email or Zoom.
These sessions (valued at $80) are provided free thanks to support from Lotteries NZ, Whau/Howick/Mangere-Otahuhu/Waitakere Local Boards and other generous supporters of our Family Support programme.
A booking fee of $20 applies*
*Important! We understand that money can be tight and we will waive this booking fee for any families or individuals who may not be able to afford it right now. Please email or phone us to book your session offline.
Our Autism CHAT sessions are held at Fillan Healthcare in purpose designed consulting rooms where you will feel relaxed and comfortable. There is plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets and the Ellerslie train station is a 2 minute walk away. When you arrive, please help yourself to a drink & refreshments in the waiting area. You are welcome to bring your child and/or their siblings along to this session.
