Nerida Cuddy and Peter Campbell in Concert
Event description
Come join Braidwood Folk Music Folk Club for an afternoon concert featuring two accomplished artists from our neighbouring regions:
Nerida Cuddy has been playing and composing music for over 25 years and has recorded five albums. She has performed widely at folk clubs and festivals in Australia and the UK and is freshly home from her recent ‘Strength of Stories’ tour of regional NSW. An engaging performer and prolific songwriter, Nerida is known as “a composer & musician with not only an ear for music, but a social conscience and a sense of humour” (ABC Central West). Peter Campbell has musical roots deep in the socially conscious 60’s and 70’s, with decades of experience performing, touring and four albums behind him, and recent performances at Bundanoon Folk Festival and Hornsby Folk Club. Peter is a talented song writer, singer and instrumentalist. With a songsmith’s take on wrangling an ominous future, he brings audiences his own brand of uplifting, challenging and often hilarious indie folk songs with flair.
