AUTUMN EQUINOX - HONORING BALANCE, GRATITUDE, AND TRANSFORMATION CEREMONY
Event description
The Autumn Equinox is a sacred turning point in the year—a time of perfect balance between light and dark, day and night. As nature begins its slow descent into rest, we, too, are invited to reflect, release, and realign with the cycles of change.
As the seasons turn and the days grow shorter, join us in sacred ceremony to honour this time of balance, reflection, and release. Gather in community for a heart-opening Cacao & Fire Ceremony, where we will, surrender what no longer serves us, and welcome transformation.
Feel the rhythmic pulse of the drum as we journey inward through meditation and sound, connecting with the wisdom of the changing earth. Together, we will weave our prayers and gratitude into a group Earth Mandala, offering our blessings back to the land in a co-creative expression of harmony.
Step into this sacred space to embrace the power of release, renewal, and deep connection and welcome the new season with an open heart.
What to Expect:
- Sacred Cacao Ceremony: Open your heart and ground your spirit with ceremonial-grade cacao, honoring this sacred plant medicine for inner healing and connection
- Guided meditation: Find harmony within as you're guided through a meditation that aligns your mind, body, and spirit, reflecting the equal balance of day and night during the equinox.
- Collaborative harvest mandala creation: Create a vibrant mandala using seasonal elements like leaves, fruits, and flowers, symbolizing gratitude for abundance and your connection to nature’s cycles.
- Fire ceremony to release and renew: Release old patterns and invite renewal by offering your intentions to the transformative power of fire in this sacred ritual.
- Drum Journey: Be guided on a shamanic journey, connecting with your inner wisdom and ancestral guidance, carried by the powerful rhythms of the medicine drum
What to Bring:

- Water Bottle: Staying Hydrated is essential when consuming cacao
- Journal and Pen: To write down your journey and reflections
- Musical Instruments: If you enjoy playing an instrument in a circle, feel free to bring items like a medicine drum, shaker, clap sticks, etc.
