Autumn Equinox - The Descent of Kore

The Summer season is slowly releasing towards the balancing time of Equinox as Autumn approaches here in the Southern Hemisphere, at this time in Grecian mythos, Kore (the maiden Persephone) begins her descent with a handful of Narcissus down into the Underworld to join Hades and prepares to reclaim her bone crown and role as Queen of Winter in the realm of the Dead at Samhain. The Eleusinian Mysteries - the story of Kore/Persephone - Demeter - Hades and of Hekate hold the mysteries of the changing seasons.


And so, I invite you to join me as the day and night flow into equal length and Kore leaves her meadow of flowers for an autumnal day of celebrations and ceremony designed to connect you to the turning season, to the goddess and the god and your own internal wisdom. As a dedicated Priestess, Teacher, Mentor, Rites of Passage Facilitator and Intuitive Witch I am deeply connected to the seasons, cycles and transitions and on this day just past Equinox Exact the Moon will also be in her Last Quarter (Half Moon) phase as we gather together to honour equilibrium here in the beautiful Northern Rivers Caldera - The Cauldron of deep magick.
