"Autumn" - Georgia Betts' Debut Album Launch
Event description
Join us for a very special night as Brisbane-based folk rock musician, Georgia Betts, celebrates the launch of her debut album, "Autumn."
Known for her rich vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and lyrical honesty, Georgia Betts has spent recent years captivating audiences with her raw storytelling. Influenced by the likes of Matt Corby, Chris Stapleton, and Fleetwood Mac, Georgia weaves emotion and authenticity into every song she writes.
Set for release the week prior on May 23rd, "Autumn" is a 10-track collection that mirrors the season itself — a time of transformation, reflection, and letting go. Written through the lens of her mid-twenties, Georgia captures the deeply personal exploration of growth, shifting relationships, and the bittersweetness of change.
The album, produced by Jack Gooden, takes listeners on a journey; with tender piano melodies and sparkling acoustic guitar in more stripped-back tracks such as "Wine Love" and "Roots", and all-out rock moments heard on songs such as "Room For One" and "Naked", with driving bass lines and catchy electric guitar parts.
For this exclusive launch, you’ll hear "Autumn" performed from beginning to end, just as it’s meant to be experienced — with Georgia sharing the stories and moments that shaped each song. Georgia will take the stage with the band to showcase the layered, textured sound of the album, while adding fresh interpretations to each track, and bringing the magic and connection of live music.
Georgia is so thrilled to be joined by special guests Stelle and Georgia Scarlett who will kick off the night!
