Autumn Harvest Celebration - Weaving The Earth Element Workshop

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

It's time for an Autumn Harvest Celebration that teaches us all about the Earth Element and how we can ignite this elemental force in our daily lives.

At Earth Medicina, our mission and purpose is embodying natural cycles, rhythms and forces by 'opening to fluid formation as we evolve with the seasons'. Natures way is the original 'intelligent design' for life. We subscribe to a Vitalistic world view where everything is interconnected and universal intelligence is what guides the flow of our existence as we participate in a fluid life guided by the ebb and flow of cosmic, elemental, natural, social and environmental forces.

As the astrological year kicks off in March at this Autumnal Equinox (March 21st and beyond), we are holding a celebratory workshop to help us learn about and embody the way of the Earth Element so we can intentionally engage with this elemental force in our daily lives - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

How can we nourish and resource ourselves in Autumn? This is Yin season so its a time for slowing down, being present to the shedding and healing we need to embody and creating the space for nurturing our body, mind and hearts! These grounded, creative and playful nature events bring our nervous systems in balance naturally and harmoniously. Earth connection is powerful!

Here are some of the aspects we'll be learning about and embodying:

- Grounding meditation followed by seasonal wisdom of Food and Vitality relating to immune and digestive system health.

- The Alchemy of Autumnal forces and the Medicine Wheel embodied in ephemeral co-creation of a collective Earth Altar

- Creative embodiment through Basket Weaving with Zimmi from Weaving Nature

Throughout the day workshop, we will be weaving aspects of ourselves into balance and building new connections and relationships with ourselves and others. Autumn Harvest time is a precious time to reflect upon what we have sown and grown during Spring and Summer so we can harvest the fruits and learnings for the next cycle of growth. this is a time to go inward, shed what we no longer need and nourish ourselves in community.

We make these events playful and light so we can engage with the joy of co-creating together and collaborating with nature in inspiring, nurturing and soulful ways!
