Autumn Pruning & Fruit Tree Guilds
Event description
Judy will demonstrate techniques for pruning a range of fruiting trees, including citrus, plum, peach, pears and apples. Learn about the habits of these trees and the benefits of training the new growth for increased vigour and continuous fruit production.
Have you considered planting a guild (a collection of plants - herbs, flowers, cover crops) under your fruit trees to add beauty and resilience to your ecosystem? The step-by-step process to creating one will be outlined in this workshop.
What to bring - secateurs if you have them, sun hat, water bottle and garden shoes.
Please note, in the case of wet weather, the workshop will moved to Sunday, 30 March. Contact Judy if you have questions 021635607.
