Autumn 2026 Guided Walk of Wamboin Crown Reserve
Description
Our Autumn walk will be about 5.5km along most of the main trails, The walk should take around 2-2.5 hours.
We’ll meet at 9:00 am at the Wamboin Community Centre, and from there we’ll car pool to the Wamboin Crown Reserve.
The trails can be a bit steep and rocky in some spots with exposed roots. It’s best if you’re in good shape to handle the walk comfortably. To make sure you’re comfortable, wear long trousers and good shoes, Please BYO water and some snacks as required.
At this stage we aren’t planning to include the steep Poppet Hill trails. However, depending on the group, these trails could be a bonus extra! It would add around 1.5kms with a steep ascent accompanied by a somewhat gentler descent.
