Gideon Geerling (qualified mountain, avalanche and climbing instructor, not the guy in the photo, that is Bob, who also loves the back country) introduces you to SAM. But who is Sam?
S.A.M is a “Safety Academy Mountain” by Ortovox, SAM demonstrates the changing nature of a snow depending on aspect and angle etc…
In this presentation Gideon will cover safe backcountry practices and information around gear, how it works and why you should have it.
This is will be an informative and entertaining evening for anyone planning on travel in the back country.
