Discover the harmonious fusion of Persian-inspired tunes by آوای رود / Avaye Rood coming to Queanbeyan this May.
Formed in 2006 under the musical vision of Behzad Ansari, this ensemble has been making waves globally - from Iran, Germany, Greece, to Australia and beyond. Their music is harmonious fusion of Persian-inspired originals, seamlessly weaving together English and Persian verses inspired by Rumi. The band's name, translating to 'sound of the river,' pays homage to an ancient Iranian instrument, evoking the spirit of a lute.
