AVCL 2025 - Graduation & End of Year Celebration

We are pleased to invite you to our 2025 End-of-Year Celebration, an evening that recognises the contribution of community leadership across our region and marks the graduation of the 2025 Annual Program cohort. This occasion brings together alumni, funders, supporters, and participants from across all of our programs, and we look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces.

The evening will feature a two-course sit-down meal and time for conversation and connection. Our keynote speaker is Mary Crooks AO. Executive Director of the Victorian Women’s Trust from 1996 to 2025, Mary is a leading advocate for civic participation and gender equality. She has designed and led landmark initiatives including the Purple Sage Project, Our Watermark Australia, and the Breakthrough for Gender Equality Conference, and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2012 for her distinguished service to public policy and the advancement of women.

Alongside the keynote, the evening will celebrate the graduation of our 2025 Annual Program cohort, provide an update on this year’s activities, and highlight the many ways individuals and communities continue to strengthen our shared future.

We thank the Wangaratta Turf Club for their generosity in providing in-kind sponsorship for the event.
