Description

Eaters: Get ready for a delicious afternoon with the People’s Choice Award in your hands (eating starts at 12:30pm). Eater tickets go on sale on 15 July at noon, sharp!

Please note that this is a community baking event, and we cannot accommodate allergies. Bring your Lactase!

Entrants: Get ready for fierce (albeit very friendly) competition and the gratitude of all attending as we get to taste your delicious creations (arrive between 12:00-12:30pm - awards at 3pm). Further details on the judging criteria will be provided via email.

This year, $5 from ticket sales go to support the work of local legends The Haven, who are making over 1900 meals a day for those doing it tough.

LASAGNE

Lasagne makers are asked to bring their baked goody of no less than 20x30cm to our event and be tested by the expert panel.

There are three judged categories:

Meat Lasagne

Home cooks who live or work in the Town of Vic Park who think they have what it takes to be crowned as Vic Park's Best Traditional

Non-Meat Lasagne

We love the rising trend of meat-free lasagne. For this category, no meat products, including stocks and gelatines, are to be used. Your lasagne must be 20x30cm minimum and super delicious if you want to be crowned the best.

The People's Choice Award

Here's the fun bit - Spectators can pay the low price of $15 to eat, and each person will get one vote for the People's Choice Award. (We’ll cut all lasagnes into pieces no smaller than 3x3cm, so the more lasagne you bring, the more people who can taste it!)

TIRAMISU

Tiramisu makers are asked to bring their goody of no less than 20x20cm to our event and be tested by the expert panel.

There are Two judged categories:

Traditional

You know the one. Coffee, mascarpone, cocoa. Don't mess with tradition, or Nonna will slap you.

Non-Traditional

Limoncello. Strawberry Matcha. Biscoff. The only limits are your imagination!

Eaters, please be warned than entries may contain alcohol.

We can't wait to share this wonderful afternoon with you all.
