Behind the Movement

Abby Wake started this movement because she always wished she had a place to feel safe in her art as a woman in Los Angeles and is bringing it to Australia.

Abby’s vision for AWAKE is to open her own space that embodies a need for women to come together through their personal fears, insecurities, and talents, and to know they are supported within a safe place where they can share their true selves.

When artists/audience members leave AWAKE, we want them to feel warm, inspired, and awakened by the experience they have shared with other extraordinary women.

AWAKE is a personal and true passion of Abby’s. But more than that, it’s come to be the realization of her life’s purpose to contribute, mentor, and empower female artists.

I’m an aspiring musician and artist from the sunny coast who finds great joy in sharing her words and melodies with the community. I draw my inspiration from the magical land we live on and love nothing more than bringing more beauty into the world through my art. Big loveee!!!
