Event description

Come and join an enlightening, intimate ongoing group Awaken to Your True Nature.

Meeting monthly on the second Sunday of the month at 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

The purpose and content is:

• To connect to and experience Your True Authentic Nature

• To connect to other like heart and mind people

• To learn practices to move from stress to peace

• To heal and transform patterns and conditioning that no longer serves

• Utilising a variety of modalities such as chanting, dance, art, collage, symbols and meditation

The theme for this month is Gratitude.

I am a Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Couple and Family Therapist, I work with individuals, couples and families of all ages. My practice is in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.

My approach is wholistic and integrative, incorporating traditional Eastern healing practices with modern Western evidence based approach to therapy. I may employ a variety of therapeutic modalities individually tailored to you and your situation. This is not just talking therapy. It is a whole mind-body approach to healing. Some common modalities I use are Mindfulness, Art therapy, EMDR, Sandplay and Energy work.

Irene has been a Spiritual seeker most of her life. She discovered a love for chanting about 15 years ago and has been chanting to recorded and live chants ever since. In the last 6 years, Irene has been learning to play the harmonium and chant her favourite chants as a home practice of meditation. She is also writing her own chants. Irene embraces a Universal Spiritualty including all traditions and styles of chanting.
