    Event description

Awakening Bodhicitta Retreat with Lama Lakshey Zangpo

IMPORTANT UPDATE: We regret that Chakung Jigme Wangdrak Rinpoche will no longer be able to join this retreat. Rinpoche has requested Lama Lakshey Zangpo Rinpoche to continue with teachings on this vital topic.

The heartfelt practice of Bodhicitta is a path to profound awakening. It transcends our individual identity and reveals the realization of the perfection of emptiness. Cultivating bodhicitta, reduces self-centeredness, reveals the interconnectedness of all things, and strengthens one’s compassion. The ultimate goal of Bodhicitta is the eradication of suffering and the attainment of perfect Buddhahood.

This March 30th, Lama Lakshey Zangpo will lead a daylong retreat with teaching and meditation on the profound topic of awakening and cultivating our practice of bodhicitta. The retreat will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Santa Cruz County. This event is in-person only and space is limited to the first 50 people, registration will close when full.

We ask that you commit to participate in the full retreat from beginning to the end. Once a retreat begins, a sacred container is formed made of each persons good intentions to be fully present. Our mutual practice supports each other.

Thank you so much for contemplating this commitment and what it mean for you and your fellow participants. Thank you for taking the time to read to the end and we look forward to seeing you all soon!

    With gratitude,

    Tsinta Mani Volunteers
