Event description

About the Class:
Participants will join Munawara Sultana and learn to make lentils the way it's made in her home country of Pakistan! She will teach how to prepare her award winning dish, which won her the MAP Raising the Roots Seasonal Chef of the Year Award, with options to make it more interesting and tasty. Enjoy cooking and learning in a fun and friendly environment. Participants are encouraged to bring their own containers for leftover food!

**Please let us know if you have any food allergies prior to the class so we can make accommodations, where possible. (Email kitchenmanager@mass-ave.org)

About the Instructor:

Munawara Sultana, who came to the USA three years ago, is an expert home cook who loves to share the food and culinary knowledge of her homeland. When she is not cooking up tasty food for family and friends, she works as an artisan at Stitch Buffalo and as an interpreter for the International Institute of Buffalo. Muna has recently registered her food business as Muna's Traditions, and was awarded the MAP Raising the Roots Seasonal Chef of the Year Award in 2024!
