    Event description

Awakening and awareness are natural states of mind. We need just create the conditions so that they may arise. What better conditions than a day of practice together in community? A life of practice is the goal.

Let’s come together and create favorable conditions. A day of practice, in community, is a gift! It can reset our nervous systems and give us permission to rest. It can be the energetic reset we need to live our lives in greater alignment with what’s most important to us.

The day will include silent meditation, guided meditation, eating, walking and resting in awareness, presence and ease.

Wear comfortable clothing / layers. Bring your lunch so that we can enjoy eating with awareness and support the continuity of practice by staying in the container we'll co-create for those six hours.

Join us in person at 2929 24th street
OR online via Zoom: https://tinyurl.com/SFDharma (password: 108108)

Suggested donation: $20 - $200+. No amount is too small or too large. Your generosity is much appreciated.

Augusta Hopkins has more than a decade of experience teaching meditation and mindfulness, coupled with almost twenty years of committed Buddhist practice. She shares Dharma that’s down to earth and very accessible. Augusta is committed to waking up through the inevitable experiences of life.

This class will be an opportunity to receive transmission from a heart-mind recently immersed in intensive retreat practice cultivating AWARENESS to meet ALL that life brings. Augusta will draw on teachings received directly from her teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh, and indirectly from Ajahn Chah & Sayadaw U Tejaniya through their disciples.
