Awareness to Action Forum 2025

MRCC is hosting the Awareness to Action Forum during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence!

North Melbourne AFL player and Essendon AFLW Development Coach Ben Brown will provide the Keynote address and be part of a panel discussion.

Join us for a powerful evening of conversation, connection, and community action. Light refreshments available.

Event Schedule:
🕠 5.30pm – Connect with local community services and support providers
🎤 6.00pm – Keynote Address by AFL player and advocate Ben Brown
🗣️ 6.30pm – Community Forum featuring Ben Brown and local sporting club leader's panel
🤝 7.00–7.30pm – Dinner and community connection.

This forum is an important opportunity for everyone involved in local sport to explore their role in promoting respectful relationships in clubs and in our community.

It’s also a safe space for men to speak openly about their experiences and learn how to access support for themselves or their families.

Everyone is welcome to attend, and audience members will have the chance to submit a question for Ben Brown and the panel prior to the forum.
