Awe-Inspiring SA Marine Life VR Experience!
Event description
As land animals, we've always been in awe of the underwater world. Here in South Australia, we are fortunate to have a beautiful coastline teeming with unique marine life. From watching whale migrations to playful sea lions and leafy sea dragons, our shores are full of wonders. With today's technology and without getting wet, you can visit these amazing places making this awe-inspiring experience accessible to all!
As part of Nature Festival, we are hosting a special event at the Port Environment Centre during our October Sunday Session, where Experiencing Marine Sanctuaries (EMS) will offer a fully immersive Virtual Reality experience. Put on a pair of VR goggles and dive into the marine life of the 'Great Southern Reef'. Encounter colourful giant Australian cuttlefish, grey nurse sharks, sea lions, sea dragons, and experience scuba diving under the Rapid Bay jetty, surrounded by other divers and large schools of reef fish.
Date: 13th Oct, Sunday, 11am-2 pm (each 360 virtual reality experience runs for 15 minute)
While you wait for your turn, we invite you to explore the centre and what it has to offer!
