📣Australasian Women in Emergencies (AWE) invites members in Wellington, NZ to join us on 30 April for an informative session on connecting cultural lived experience into disaster management, led by Lisa Keedle.

🌏Lisa is an experienced emergency management leader at the Yarra Ranges Council and is over visiting from Australia. As a local government, the Yarra Ranges has experienced a medium to large scale event every year since 2016 and Lisa's looking forward to discussing lots of disastrous things with us! 

She also comes ready to share fresh insights from the Yarra Ranges Council's ‘Our Country - Our Way’ National Symposium on resilience and healing using Indigenous knowledge systems. 🔥 🌧

⏰When: Tuesday, 30 April at 6.00pm
Please arrive around 5.45 pm for a 6pm start.

📌Locations: In-Person at Wellington Region Emergency Management Office (WREMO) in Wellington or virtual attendance.

💻Virtual registrants will receive a calendar invitation with details on how to join remotely.
