Awesome Arcadian Colour Run, part of Arcadian's Aussie Family Fun Day at Alma Bay

Arcadian Surf Life Saving Club's annual Aussie Family Fun Day at Alma Bay, Magnetic Island, returns in 2023 and will once again feature our Awesome Arcadian Colour Run. The Fun Day runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm with lots of Aussie themed games for the kids (games tickets for sale on the day), inflatables available to purchase for use in the bay, Aussie BBQ, bar open for the adults from midday, and our world famous Arcadian Toad Races to end the day.
The Awesome Arcadian Colour Run will kick off at approximately 11am, with lots more fun obstacles, colour and even a little SLIME this year! Tickets for the Colour Run section of the day are $20.00 per child, with accompanying adults of small children free of charge. Each child will receive Race Kit which includes a rainbow sweatband, coloured sunglasses and a support wristband.
Please note, all measures will be taken to ensure this event is safe for all participants. The colour powder is made from 98% corn starch and 2% food colouring, making it non-toxic, biodegradable and gluten free. Our volunteers assisting with the event will do their best to aim the powder towards the torso. However, wind may cause the powder to protrude onto your child's face or hair. Ingredient listings and toxicology risk assessments are available upon request. Attendees with lung conditions such as asthma are advised to be careful in their decision to participate. The colour powder will likely wash out of your child's clothing. Never the less, we recommend that your child wears a plain white shirt that you don't mind being coloured.
