    Event description

The 2024 Awesome Summit will be hosted by the Hey Westminster! Awesome Foundation chapter, on the weekend of October 25th.

Just three years old, their chapter has given away well over $60k in grants, with robust media storytelling that has reached tens of thousands and had a transformative impact in their community. Come explore their small Maryland town (outside of Baltimore and DC), join in conversations about community-driven impact, and celebrate all you do creating a more awesome future.

It'll be an-almost-Halloween weekend that celebrates small-town life, as the leaves change up and down one of the longest, walkable Main Streets on the east coast. Plans are in place to enjoy conversations at a local distillery, join breakout groups to brainstorm at a local historic college, visit the local farmers' market in its autumn splendor, sit with trustees from around the world around a campfire, and much more.

    • Engage in dynamic workshops about marketing, AI and the Awesome Foundation, philanthropic partnerships with foundations, and more
    • Network with fellow trustees and forge new partnerships that can amplify our collective impact
    • Celebrate our successes and share your chapter’s achievements with a global audience

Please RSVP by August 11. Earlier confirmation is appreciated, as hotel and homestay availability is limited; the chapter wants to ensure housing for all that plan to join .

+ Make the event more awesome: volunteer! We are looking for a half-dozen activities (ranging from small group discussion to presentations) that range from 30 minutes to an hour to complement the growing schedule. Everyone can do it!

If you need additional information, feel free to reach out to our summit coordinators. We look forward to seeing you this fall and working together to continue the Awesome Foundation’s great work.
