Travel instructions

The best way to enjoy Artwalk Freo is on foot! Keep an eye out for directional signage and pavement logos. The Transperth Journey Planner at www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Journey-Planner can help you find the best way to get there via public transport.

Entry instructions

Please show your ticket on entry. Once your ticket is scanned and validated, you can proceed into the premises.

After entry instructions

You are free to roam in designated areas. The artists and volunteers will be wearing AWF24 logos and will be available to assist you. Please remember, these are the artist's private homes and studios and so should be respected as such.

Hazards

Some steps. Some low ponds. Please remember, these are the artist's private homes and studios and unfortunately not all have been designed with universal access in mind.

Toilet location

There are numerous 'pit stops' and cafes with toilets along the way which are preferable and often more accessible to use. These will be marked on the Artwalk Freo maps. The host artists will of course permit you to use their bathroom if necessary.

Accessible parking

We first suggest walk if possible to avoid any parking issues. Alternatively, if you cannot take public transport either and need to drive, here are some parking options below: Weekend One: South Fremantle Free parking in Marine Terrace for several hours then walk to Coral Street. Street parking along a number of peripheral streets. Please be thoughtful of residents parking. Weekend Two: White Gum Valley There is parking around Boo Park and side streets. Weekend Three: Monument Hill Fremantle Leisure car park off Quarry Street. Street parking around the Fremantle Arts Centre and Chudleigh Street. Basketball courts accessing Holland Street. Check out the Artwalk Freo Google Map closer to the event dates to find more available parking spots.
