Artwalk Freo returns for three weekends this May!
Weekend ONE | South Freo: 4-5 May
Weekend TWO | White Gum Valley: 11-12 May
Weekend THREE | Monument Hill: 18-19 May
Open 10am - 4pm daily
$20 entry, tickets valid all weekend
Artwalk Freo will return in 2024 to the streets of Fremantle and surrounds, as local and international artists throw open the doors to their studios, homes, and creative spaces, some for the very first time.
This year the event takes place over three weekends, commencing 4 & 5 May, as art enthusiasts and the wider community are invited to take part in a rare opportunity to explore the hidden artistic corners of the port city and witness the creative process firsthand.
Artwalk Freo offers eventgoers the chance to take a glimpse inside a working studio, discovering the process behind different creative principles and learning how an artist’s living space inspires the ideas that make up their artistic practice. The entire event is designed to be walkable, allowing visitors to wander from studio to studio, with each weekend focusing on a group of artists located within the same area.
Artwork will be available to purchase directly through the artists at each studio across the three weekend-long program.
Kicking off on Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 May from 10am till 4pm and running till Sunday 19 May, visitors can purchase a
$20 ticket that will allow exclusive access to all studios across each weekend, with free entry for children under
18. A season pass to attend all three weekends can be purchased for $50.
