AWG Vic: Christmas in July

With Melbourne winter now in full force, come warm yourself with the camaraderie of your fellow writers at our first ever Christmas In July party, and celebrate reaching the midpoint of the year!

A purely social event, there will be lots of tasty nibbles provided, drinks and cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available at very reasonable prices, and the chance to catch up with old friends and new while you plot out your third act of 2025. 

Please note: This will be popular and will most likely sell out, so tickets must be prebooked and may NOT be available on the door!

WHERE: The Purple Emerald Bar, 349 High Street, Northcote 

WHEN: 7pm - 11pm

HOW TO GET THERE: Northcote Station is 5 minutes away, the number 86 tram passes right by the front, and there's also car parking behind the Northcote Social Club. And yes, it's a fully accessible venue!

TICKETS: $25 for members, $30 for non members 

DRESS CODE: Christmas jumpers, woolly jumpers, ugly jumpers, your best silly beanie... you get the drift! Who knows, there may even be spot prizes for the best dressed...
