NZ Steel’s Glenbrook Production Site Visit
Upon arrival at New Zealand Steel Glenbrook, please report to the Site Reception building, which is to the left of the main front gates.
During your tour you will be visiting the following production areas:
- Steel Making Plant/Casters
- Hot and Cold Rolling Mills
- Metal Coating Line
- Paint Line
Your host for the tour will be Genia Znarok.
New Zealand Steel is a 24/7 operational site; the safety of visitors and our employees is our top priority. There may be unforeseen changes in our operational areas which could restrict access for tours. The final decision on what is included on the tour will be made by your host and our tour guides team on the day.
All visitors to our site must be accompanied by an NZ Steel employee at all times and visitors must remain with their hosts at all times. Please follow the instructions of your host and adhere to the safety procedures advised onsite.
Important – Clothing Requirements:
All visitors are required to wear:
- Full-length trousers and long-sleeve shirt
- Closed in, flat, sturdy footwear
- No head gear i.e., no hoodies, beanies or caps.
New Zealand Steel will provide all site-specific safety gear.
- Hard hats must be worn whilst on site
- High viz vests must be fastened up
- Ear and eye protection will be provided
Photography is not permitted in operational areas at any time.
