Event description

Something new from something Ancient. 🇮🇳 🍁

A wholesome Sunday offering, held at a secret location surrounded by nature.

Mindful forest walk, Meditation, Abhyanga ritual + Medicinal feast to pacify Vata Dosha.

Honouring the wholesome qualities of Winter, we will connect to a few fundamental Ayurvedic practises to maintain Sattva.
During this seasonal transition it is important to feast on plenty of fresh, warm, easily digestible, seasonal harvests.

Promoting warmth, grounding, moisture and a touch of spice through medicine food, yoga, self massage & community.

Starting from the earth up, finishing around the table in community here on Darkinoong & Guringai lands.

Limited spaces available for this intimate offering.

Mindful walk: Starting from the earth up, we will be guided in a gentle forest walk on country to activate our digestion + connect to our inner and outer seasons. Completed with a deeply powerful and personal acknowledgement to country.

Meditation: Following our forest walk, lets ground our energy in a group meditation. However you practise meditation in the space is welcomed. This is a comfortable + silent space that can also be an opportunity for journalling or a restorative Yin posture.

Abhyanga: Using warm, infused ayurvedic blended oils, we'll be guided into a nourishing self massage practice to pacify Vata Dosha.

Feast: Taste the healing foods of Ancient India, with a nourishing Ayurvedic, plant based lunch using seasonal + organic produce. A wholesome Winter warmer to soothe the body from the elements. Freshly cooked from scratch at home.

Sangha: Winter is a time for grounding + wholesome gatherings. Let us come together & celebrate Mother Earth's seasons in an afternoon of sensory pleasure in positive community.
