Aztec (Méxica) Dance Presentation

Join us for a night of community support for our friend Marcial during his recovery from cancer. There will be an Aztec Dance presentation, music, food and a raffle including jewelry, beadwork and other handcrafted items. All proceeds go to support Marcial during his healing process. 

The Aztec Dance is a pre-columbian ceremonial dance deeply rooted in spirituality and culture, connecting the human world to the natural and supernatural world through movement. This presentation will be done by members of the Danza community from Philadelphia and surrounding areas, donning their ornate headdresses and regalia and dancing in unison to the drum as has been done for generations.
