B Corp Month Panel: Moving forward in retail
Event description
This B Corp Month, we’re celebrating how B Corps are always moving forward, on a constant journey to improve their impact on people, the planet, and communities. At this Sydney event, three diverse B Corps from across the retail sector will share their unique B Corp experience and how they are taking their impact forward.
Together, they’ll discuss the challenges of the retail sector, the role B Corp plays in communicating sustainability to employees, customers and others, along with the plans and the hopes they have for the B Corp movement in retail and beyond.
Newly certified B Corp, P.E Nation, is generously hosting our existing and aspiring B Corp community for drinks and discussion at its George Street store. Come along to enjoy the panel and meet peers using business as a force for good!
We’ll hear from Pip Edwards, Co-founder/Creative Director of P.E. Nation on their recent journey to certification, followed by a panel discussion with representatives across the industry.
Joining the panel will be:
- Mark Rogers, Head of Operations and Supply Chain, P.E Nation. The P.E Nation philosophy is centred around quality design and construction, whilst offering fashion forward, comfortable and fashionable pieces, specifically designed to take you from the studio to street.
- Dhani D'Arcy, Founder of Florada. A creative and passionate floral designer, guided by seasons, and committed to creating positive and lasting change.
- Brooke Sprott, Head of Sustainable Business and Communications, Unilever ANZ. Unilever has set out to make sustainable living commonplace by improving the health of the planet, improving people's health, confidence and wellbeing, and contributing to a fairer and more socially inclusive world.
