B.I.G EXHIBITION OPEN DAY

Join our Artists and Performers (tbc) to celebrate what it means to take up space as a diaspora and to celebrate Blacxh History Month!

B.I.G stands for Black Imagination and Greatness. It also represents the scale of the imagination that we invite artists to inhabit and embody beyond Black History Month.
Whilst we celebrate taking up space with our boldness and imagination, it’s also important to reference, with reverence, the generations that used their creativity to survive and get us here.

This gives a great permission and opportunity to take up space, centre stage, in a Glasgow heritage venue.

Centre Of Wellbeing is opening as a cafe and, as it grows, plans to add in treatment and therapy rooms, and host more events and workshops.

Daring, expansive, imagination, in service of community, is the most revolutionary act we can do as diaspora artists making work today.
