Babs Pops Up...at Valentina's

BABS POPS UP is a monthly restaurant event, a space for those working, living and enjoying Sydney’s eat food drink booze culture. Championing the prominence of female-led kitchens and dining rooms, BABS is a space for community and for the sharing of collective skills. For BABS, the temporality of place provides a creative outlet to freely explore what’s possible in the kitchen and on the floor.

BABS POPS UP…AT VALENTINA’S will bring to the table MEXICAN regional, home-style cuisine, guided by The Alex’s Mariana Escalera Beverido and BABS’ co-founder Ellie Hayes O’Brien. These two powerhouse chefs first crossed paths in 2019 and bonded over their longstanding experiences in the hospitality industry. A shared passion for vibrant but comforting flavour, nourishment and creating the feeling that you’re being looked after by what you’re eating, is what has brought this menu together.
