Description

Baby Movement & Development: A Collaborative Session with Little Movers Co.

Babies develop movement skills at their own pace, and it’s common for parents to have questions about what to expect, how to encourage development through play, and when additional support might be helpful.

Join Abbey, paediatric physiotherapist from Little Movers Co., for a relaxed, practical session exploring baby movement and early motor development. Abbey’s approach is play-based and child-led, with a focus on practical strategies that can be easily incorporated into everyday family life.

The session will explore:

  • Understanding early movement and motor development in babies

  • Play-based ways to encourage movement and build emerging skills

  • Simple activities you can incorporate into everyday routines at home

  • Supporting your baby through different stages of physical development

  • Creating opportunities for movement and play

  • Understanding the wide range of typical development

  • When an individual assessment or additional support may be helpful

  • Time to ask Abbey your questions about your baby’s movement and development

This is a supportive and educational session designed to give parents practical ideas and greater confidence in supporting their baby’s development. Information shared is general and does not replace individual medical or allied-health advice.

Who can attend?

This event is for mums with babies aged 0–12 months. Babies are warmly welcome to attend with you.
