Most junior athletes train for years without ever being measured. Effort is easy to see — progress is not.

The Bacchus Marsh Combine is one afternoon of performance testing on the same equipment used inside professional programs, run by AHPRA-registered physiotherapists and qualified strength and conditioning staff. Your athlete leaves with a set of real numbers they can carry into pre-season and come back and beat it.

What we test

Jump — squat jump, countermovement jump and depth jump on VALD ForceDecks.
Hamstring strength — eccentric force measured leg by leg on a VALD NordBord.
Speed — a 20 m sprint with a 10 m split, so acceleration and top speed are separated.
Mobility — Identify movement & mobility barriers
Running capacity — the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test, measuring the ability to repeat high-intensity efforts.

Before you book

The afternoon finishes with a maximal running test. Registration asks about asthma, heart conditions, and any fainting or chest pain during exercise. Anything flagged needs written clearance from your own GP, or your athlete completes the rotation stations only. Photo and video consent is optional — decline it, and your athlete appears in no content from the day.
