Manawatu/Rangitikei Federated Farmers welcomes you to our September event - Back to Grassroots. We hope to hold this event within the Manawatu region (location TBC) to celebrate calving/lambing coming to an end and hopefully lockdown too. It will be an opportunity to catch up, have a drink and hear about some awesome locals doing great things.

In this event we will be joined by 4 speakers, all of whom are young, passionate and innovative farmers within our community.

Will Taylor - a sheep and beef farmer from Feilding
Heather Gee-Taylor - a sheep and beef farmer from Rangiwahia
Richard Ridd - a dairy farmer from Ashhurst
Mat Hocken - a dairy farmer from Colyton

Each speaker will have time to discuss their journey, where they are now and why they have chosen agriculture. There will be time for questions at the end of each presentation.

Please note this is an open event and anyone can attend. Each attendee will need to book a ticket for catering purposes.

This event will be held in person if we drop to alert level 1.
