Food adventures for children under three

Food is at the heart of a Montessori Infant Community. Join us to prepare a meal using child-friendly tools and simple and mutiple engaging recipes. We will discuss how to support children in building a healthy, positive relationship with food. Be inspired and discover practical ways to encourage more active participation in food preparation.

Location: SMTC Balmain, G6, 15-Barr Street, Balmain, Sydney (enter through the back doors)

Audience: Montessori Diploma holders (AMI or other) or others working in Montessori 0-3 environments such as Montessori assistants or support educators. This is an advanced workshop, designed to be an extension of earlier Montessori study and/or work in 0-3.

Cost: $180+ GST

Payment: Instalments available over 6 months for early registrants

What is Back to the Training Centre?

Back to the Training Centre is a dedicated in-person day long opportunity to return to the training environment, reconnect with colleagues, and deepen your Montessori practice. Each session focuses on refreshing key areas, exploring variations and extensions to earlier presentations, and engaging directly with materials in our prepared environments alongside our AMI trainers.

This session is part of our Back to the Training Centre Series for 2026, and we’re excited to continue offering opportunities to revisit, extend, and enrich your Montessori understanding. We can’t wait to get started for 2026.
