Keys to the Universe: Presenting the Elements of Art

What's the difference between art projects and offering children the keys to recognise and explore the fundamental elements of visual art? Join us as we explore the Elements of Art and experience a range of activities offered to children in the classroom.

Included:

• One handmade fabric envelope.

• Materials needed to create the contents of one envelope that will be made during the workshop, ready to be presented immediately in your classroom and expanded upon over time.

• Labels for the full set of 8 envelopes

• Examples of how children can engage with this area.

Our beautifully handmade fabric envelopes are created by Andrea O'Halloran. One envelope is included with your booking, however additional envelopes can be pre-ordered or purchased on the day for $18 + GST each, allowing you to build the complete set of eight envelopes for your classroom over time.

Location: SMTC Balmain Training Centre (Sydney), G6, 1-15 Barr Street, Balmain NSW 2041.

There is street parking available in Barr St and surrounding streets.

Audience: Open to all Montessori Diploma holders (AMI or other).

Cost: $140 + GST (includes one pre-made fabric material envelope)

What is Back to the Training Centre?

Back to the Training Centre is exactly that – a dedicated, day-long opportunity to return to the training environment in-person and spend time in our permanently prepared spaces with colleagues and AMI trainers. These in-person days offer a chance to refresh key areas of practice with a particular focus on materials, and to extend and deepen your understanding beyond what was covered in your original Montessori training.
