Event description

Backbone Theatre For Babies is a unique program for infants and toddlers, aged 0-3 years, along with their families and caregivers that aims to nurture early exposure to the arts, build community and craft exciting sensory experiences to enjoy.

For the last 6 months, Backbone has been working with local artists, Brymore Productions to design and create these experiences. We will be testing Brymore Productions new production, 'What's In The Woods?' throughout August and September 2024, before launching the work in full at Backbone Festival in October 2024.

Our test sessions will be split into 3 age groups, 0-1 years, 1-2 years and 2-3 years. There will be four different sessions for each age group.

This event is for our 2-3 year age group.

What's In The Woods? - Theatrical experiences for 2 - 3 year olds

Join us in a soft and cosy woodland, right out of a storybook, for the program's first production ‘What’s In The Woods?’ created by Brymore Productions.

Explore all the natural wonders of the woods and enjoy the unique elements of each season through alternating experiences for growing young minds. Each session will run for 45 minutes, with approximately 25 minutes of live performance and 20 minutes of play!

Sessions for Ages 2-3

WINTER: August 15th, 11:00am - 11:45am

SPRING: August 22nd, 11:00am - 11:45am

SUMMER: September 5th, 11:00am - 11:45am
