    Join us on an adventure as we explore our own backyard to discover the amazing environments in our local area.

    Ages: for ages 10 to 15 years old.

    What to wear/bring: Please wear long trousers, enclosed shoes, a hat and sunscreen.

    Date: Thursday 2 May, from 4 to 5:30pm.

    • CRCS transportΒ ticket holders pleaseΒ arrive at Humpy HallΒ at 3:45pm. Arrive back to Humpy Hall for drop-offΒ at 5:45pm.
    • Make your own way ticket holders please arrive at The Link at 4pm for pick-up at 5:30pm.


    Embark on an exciting adventure with usΒ as we journey through our very own backyard. We will beΒ uncovering the wonders of our local environment. Designed for ages 10 to 15 years, this afterschool activity offers our young explorersΒ the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and discover the beauty of our own neighbourhood.

    Join us at either Humpy Hall in Scullin for pickup or head directly to The Link in Strathnairn. Led by a ranger from the Ginninderry Conservation Trust, we'll bushwalk into the nearby Conservation Corridor, immersing ourselves in the diverse flora and fauna that call Canberra home.

    Get ready for a fun-filledΒ afternoon with engaging activities and gain life-long experiences.
