Are you ready to start your home composting journey? Then our Backyard Composting workshop is for you!
Join us on Thursday 14 May, 10am - 12pm at the Zone Room in the Margaret River Youth Precinct for this FREE event.
Facilitated by Alisa from Reconnect to Nature, you'll get to learn best practice techniques for setting up & maintaining a home composting system.
This workshop will cover:
🌿Best practice for making your own compost at home with a simple, step by step process.
🌿How homemade compost can help improve sandy soils
🌿How homemade compost can help with ‘pest’ management
🌿Using natural compost activators
🌿How to use your homemade compost practically in your garden
🌿You’ll also learn ‘hands off’ types of composting and other creative ways to make use of your garden waste, saving time and money.
Attendees will also receive a copy of Alisa’s “Recipe for Compost Lasagna”
