House Concert with Georgie Winchester & Mozë
Event description
Mid-week Backyard Concert in Fitzroy North <3
The Georgie Winchester Special is a touring dynamic three-piece band from Newcastle NSW renowned for their fun, feel good performances. Led by Georgie, whose songwriting drives the band, the group features Bailey on drums & Aunty Alan on bass and BV’s. Indie rock and Folk are the genres you can expect to hear the band explore. The GWS is teaming up with local act Mozë on support for this show.
MOZË is an english-born, Australian self-produced artist who began exploring her sound during the 2020 lockdowns. Inspired by Lianne La Havis, Carole King, James Blake, and Kimbra, she writes and produces music in her home studio in Wangaratta. MOZË has opened for Odette, Woodes, Yergurl, IVEY, performed at the Palais theatre, and toured with Kylie Auldist.
Her music is a fusion of imaginative worlds and twisted optimism, garnished with melodic adventures. She transforms her emotions into tangible expressions of art that make a moment last forever. Being that her name is Zoë, her artist name MOZË is a playful nod to her dyslexia, where music filters through her big imagination and reflects the creativeness that flows through.
Bring a rug, some nibbles and catch them all for this cute backyard concert at 68 Barkly St Fitzroy North Thursday 28th of November!
